We ordered an eggs benny, eggs on toast with bacon, a bowl of chips, 2 coffees, a root juice and some crumpets with apple compote.The service was super friendly and helpful. The order came out in good time and it was very well presented and tasty.I would certainly come back here again.

For our mains, we chose The Secrets Trio, and every bite was fantastic. The table of 8 all have the same high praises for their delicious food.I honestly can’t fault this place. The staff was extremely attentive and patient with our table’s orders, even going above and beyond by providing pencils for the kids to draw on the table, which they absolutely loved. Highly recommend this place!

Update : once again a fantastic meal in conjunction with Pikes matched wines. This was my second time at a wine promo/dinner and it didn't disappoint, 5 courses of deliciousness with perfectly pared wine at $100 a head I'll be doing that again for sure, great job to all the staff.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner, Robbie, who made us feel right at home. He was not only welcoming but also took the time to chat with us, a gesture that continued throughout the night as he checked in to ensure our meal was perfect and that we had everything we needed. The rest of the wait staff mirrored Robbie's enthusiasm, making the experience even more enjoyable—they genuinely seemed to be having as much fun as we were!Dining as a group of four hungry men, we started with a couple of 750-gram rib eyes to really test the kitchen's skills. The steaks were made from Coorong Black Angus Beef, which set the expectation for quality right from the start. They were reverse-seared, basted in garlic butter, and chargrilled on an open flame. The steaks were served with rosemary sea salt in a red gum smoke-filled cloche, adding an impressive visual and aromatic element to the experience. We ordered the steaks rare, medium rare, and medium, and I was impressed by how perfectly each one was cooked—something I haven’t seen done so consistently before. I decided to add lobster as a topper to one of the rib eyes, curious about the hype, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The lobster was tender, buttery, and added a luxurious touch that not only enhanced the visual appeal but also became the star of the night.We didn’t stop there. We also shared a mega meats platter, which featured pork ribs, deep-fried chicken wings, and slow-cooked pulled pork, accompanied by crunchy, house-made slaw and pickles. The pork ribs, topped with a delicious sauce, were my personal favourite on the platter.Throughout the evening, we enjoyed their in-house lager, which was nicely sweet, and explored Carnivore's impressive selection of wines and spirits. Great service, food was delicious, beautifully presented, great experience by us all. Owner spent time with us, he was very kind and gifted my husband with a great kitchen utensil. Stu Wii: First time lunch at Joe's and it was a very pleasant experience. Friendly and helpful staff and meals were brought out within about 20 minutes. Smashed avocado with poached eggs and garlic mushrooms on sourdough was delicious and the side of fries was crispy and seasoned just right. Almond cappuccino was on point too! I'll definitely be back!Great ocean views and clean and spacious dining areas inside and out. Plenty of car parking immediately nearby too.Parking: Numerous 3hr free car parks immediately adjacent cafe.

TWM: Loved the experience after many years and great past memories. I visited for lunch last week and it was truly exceptional. Beautiful menu with a focus on local produce backed by a solid wine list. Service was attentive and unobtrusive. The setting is just perfect especially for lunch with a bright and airy atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to coming back when I’m next in Adelaide.

rwill125: Have been here a number of times now. Certainly rate it as the best quality fish and chips in Adelaide, and we have tried many other places too. Chips nice and crispy but still plenty of potato, and seafood is always very fresh. Service is excellent, and I have noticed they always make the effort to address customers by name. Great old fashioned customer service and I love seeing them work hard as a family and taking pride in their food and service. Joy Fox: and their various yiros options. They also greet you by name which I think is terrific because it makes it feel like you’re part of the local community. This is rare nowadays outside of country towns. I definitely recommend phoning your order before coming though if you can because they are so popular

Niloufar Ansari: One of the best seafood I've ever had! Highly recommend for any seafood lover! Craving fish and chips, we found this gem on Google. The passion of the staff shines through in every dish. The fish is fresh daily, with origin details. The staff were friendly and provided insightful information about the menu. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the seafood stick was a standout. They even kindly added extra calamari to our dish since we were a party of three. I will definitely go back!

Yamorena Kopi: Currently my number one spot for fish and chippies.. their coleslaw is a must try. Their fish is perfectly cooked, crispy outside and juicy inside. Prawns and squid!! Wow..I probably have to try more of the other stuff on their menu but my word the stuff I tried was so 😋 yummyLove it. Fantastic service 👏 👌I highly recommend this placeChips you gotta have them with the chick salt! If I'm being picky I could maybe wish for the chips to be crisper but it's a minor thing..they are tasty. I haven't taken enough photos cause I just go there and bury my face in their food.

However, there is a accessible toilet which is located outside the back of the restaurant.Gotta mention that the metal chairs are super uncomfortable & you’ll get a cold breeze if you sit anywhere near the door opening!Regardless, we’ve been quite a few times & of course will be back.

The fried pizzas were phenomenal, rivaling any I've had in Naples. The potato and leek croquettes were bursting with flavour, perfectly seasoned, with a soft interior and a wonderfully crispy exterior.Our mains consisted of a delightful assortment of pizzas and gnocchi. The pizza bases were a testament to traditional craftsmanship, featuring an authentic, artisan texture and flavor. The toppings were thoughtfully chosen and expertly executed. My eggplant parmigiana pizza was a highlight, with perfectly fried eggplant cubes nestled in a rich Napolitana red sauce and topped with high-quality melted mozzarella.Dessert was a delightful end to our meal, and my mother, who is dairy-free, was thrilled to enjoy a vegan tart adorned with a birthday candle.We will definitely return to this charming little gem. Blue Velvet Pizza is the perfect spot for a date, a family dinner, or a catch-up with friends.

Catherine Corpin: I recently tried out this Italian restaurant my Italian colleague recommended, and it was pretty good, though it didn't quite live up to the hype. The Burrata and Prosciutto were great—fresh and tasty. The pizzas were solid, but I made the mistake of getting two that tasted pretty similar despite the different toppings. The mushrooms made one of the pizzas a bit soggy, but fortunately, it was still delicious. The pasta was good, too. Overall, I’d give it a 4 out of 5. Worth a visit if you’re in the mood for Italian, but maybe mix up the pizza choices!
