Our driving instructor is government Accredited and Authorised and has been in the driver training industry since 2002. Our instructor is friendly, patient and very professional.

The instructor (Chris) has a current "Working with Children Check" clearance from the Department of Human Services.

​He is fully qualified to teach the Competency Based Training and Assessment program (CBT & A)-commonly called Logbook and is qualified to conduct driving tests (VORT).

For the last 21 years, we have trained over a thousand safe students, from all levels and background. We always welcome overseas licence conversion drivers.

Every students' learning ability is different. Some will need more time than others to achieve competency. But our instructor will always try his best to help you achieve the standards required by SA government, in the shortest possible time. But ultimately, we want you to be a safe and confident driver.

101 Driver Training cares about your safety and the safety of others on the roads. The instructor will ensure that you will be a confident and safe driver, by the time you finish your training.

​When you book driving lessons or a test with us, you understand and accept our terms and conditions. Please read and understand our Terms and Conditions of Service, before booking your driving lessons or VORT.

Our instructor trains in an automatic car only. Driving lessons can be booked from ​Saturday through to Thursday.

We are closed on Fridays and public holidays. Driving lessons can start from home, school or at a mutually convenient location.

101 Driver Training is a member of the Australian Driver Trainers Association SA (ADTASA).

VORT test can be booked for Tranmere (using your own car or the examiner's car):

I had been with three past driving instructors before and can say Vijay is by far the best. Before I even started driving with him, I had explained my past experiences doing the log book as well as my own personal issues and can gladly say Vijay was kind and welcoming. Unlike my past instructors, I was comfortable driving with him and he’s become like a friend. He looks out for your well-being and doesn’t extend your lessons just to make some extra cash. I recommend him to anyone looking to do the VORT test. He’s a real life saver and a teacher to remember

I didn’t pass my first test and then I met Vijay and done a few lessons with him and within two weeks of not passing I took my test with him and I passed! Such a lovely guy, very calm and soft, so educational assisting you with what you need help with and helping you fine tune your driving, I was so un-confident and didn’t know what I was doing after two hours with Vijay I knew all my manoeuvres, he wrote everything down and let me take it home to work on and so I could practice, second lesson I was so confident and more comfortable driving, third lesson I was smashing my driving, doing so well if it weren’t for Vijay and his amazing and positive teaching I wouldn’t have passed today! Highly recommend and have even already referred him to my friends and family, thank you so so much Vijay you’re amazing!

Ultra Drive School delivers a program that prepares a new driver to obtain a learner's permit or driver's licence.

Our program also prepares existing overseas licence holders to obtain Australian licence by customized refresher course.

Lesson may take place in a classroom, in a vehicle, online, or a combination of the above. Topics of instruction include traffic code or Australian road laws and vehicle operation. Right coaching will make you capable of dealing with dangerous conditions in driving such as road conditions, driver impairments, and hazardous weather. Instructional videos may also be shown, demonstrating proper driving strategies and the consequences for not observing the rules.

Education is intended to supplement the knowledge obtained from government-printed driving handbooks or manuals and prepares students for tests to obtain a driver's license or learner's permit. In-car instruction places a student in a vehicle with an instructor. A car fitted with dual controls, which has pedals or other controls on the passenger side, may be used. We design customised & individual need based lessons to achieve driving standards quickly.
