Bedlam Wilhelm Rigney (Loony Living): My only complaint is that they're not open on Mondays and Tuesdays!Seriously, you wouldn't realise how amazing this place is from the outside. It looks like a classic, kinda dingy Classic Aussie chip shop, which is a pleasant surprise to see right in the middle of the CBD. But then you walk into the dining room, and it's a cozy, retro, discotheque-style restraint and bar. Fantastic vibes, friendly and accommodating staff, definitely a must, either just popping by for a bag of chips or to sit down and watch the city night life unfold while you're tucking into a roast.

Connor Rice: Extra Chicken Salt is a fun place for a late night bite to eat, their chicken burger had a soft bun with a beautifully crispy chicken filelt and homemade pickles. Their highlight is absolutely their chips which are soft on the inside but crunch on the outside with nice seasoning.

Great decor, good service and excellent ambience.My only gripe was the near 40 minute wait for food….and there were only a few people in there. It was 1pm on a weekend, maybe it’s more frantic late night.Either way a great venue that adds to the options for quality late night dining in a city that often closes shop at 9pm!

R Naidu: Great service in this retro hole-in-wall diner. The space is very decieving from street side. Inside its spacious with intimate eating spaces for varying group sizes. Drinks menu is broad and reasonably priced. Food came out quick and there were no complaints on taste.Our hostess was great in explaining the menu, and other joints to discover on our visit to Adelaide.Would recommend ane visit again.

Fraser: Very solid but would prefer consistent offerings of salad. Excellent chicken and chips and a point of difference to other takeaway shops.

The food is just so fresh and tasty.I’ve been here 5 times in the past 2 weeks and tried nearly everything on the menu.😋Importantly the child are Free Range and Im wrapped that they use grilled breast in the burgers and wraps. It’s lean and healthy.Now I’m a “Hot Chip” connoisseur and the team here have nailed the perfect crunch and seasoning.Salads are made in house and selection is good.The place is just super clean, organized and professional.I hope to see more of these shops around the town. 🐔 👊🏼

The Turkish bun is made specially for this place, and the chicken was juicy, but not oily.Chili jam had a kick, but nothing serious for me. Whole thing went down really well 😋🐔

Matt A: My first impression was a very clean shop, owner greeted me with a genuine smile and hello. Took my order promptly. When my order was ready owner said he packed a couple of extra prawns as they were not as big as they should be. When I got the food home for us too eat I was very impressed, chips were golden brown and very tasty, fish was delicious with not too much battter, and the hamburger was just as good, very well made and not greasy like some burgers can be. Will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great meal and all the best for success.
