    Max Headroom: Hernia sports repair.I picked up a 10cm inguinal hernia while cycling and was referred to Dr James Kollias by my GP.Dr Kollias offered his advice on what type of repair and I took it.The minimal amount of pain was surprising - I didn’t require my pain killers. There was a week of discomfort, totally normal.I was back into easy training after 2 weeks complete bed rest and an additional 4 weeks recovery. 9 months have now passed and I don’t feel a thing. I can train as hard as I like - incredible repair job.I’ve already referred one person and will continue to refer to Dr Kollias.

Sweety came from Bangladesh to get breast cancer treatment in South Australia. She was on her 30's when she diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.     David Walters graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1993 and became a Specialist General Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2000. His pre-fellowship training included an Internship and Basic Surgical Training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Advanced Training at all the major teaching hospitals in South Australia and General Surgical attachments at Yale and in Bath, UK.

    In 2001 Dr Walters was appointed Chief Resident and Fellow in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. During this Fellowship period Dr Walters completed a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound, a skill in continuous use during his clinical practice.

    Since 2003 Dr Walters has been extensively involved in teaching, publishing research, peer review and the subspecialist management of General, Breast and Endocrine disorders as a Staff Specialist on the Breast and Endocrine Surgical Unit of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Senior Lecturer with the University of Adelaide.

    Dr Walters is appointed to BreastScreen South Australia as a Visiting Specialist.

    Dr Walters has a special interest in quality, safety and clinical governance. He has been a Director of St Andrews Hospital since 2009 and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

    Yannis Brown: Had a vaccination the doctor I was to see was running behind the staff arranged for another doctor to see me who had a moment and cut my wait short. Brilliant!Update: 2024 another trip to Asia and the doctor was very thorough with expectations, how to best protect myself based on my plans and what vaccinations I should look at. In the end, I was fairly up to date and just had a booster for TDAP.

    Derick Hardaway: Dr. Stacey was nice and provided pin-point advice for my situation. Great one.
