Tom Simpson: there is a reason I'd happily drive 55 minutes in peak hour to buy the weekly golf ball sleeve when just over 150m walk from my house gets me the same exact golf balls. But wouldn't go anywhere else the staff at West Beach put more effort and care into looking after anyone who walks through the door then anywhere in any industry I've ever experienced. Want a lesson? TOM BOND! Want a club refermished JAMES TREGENZA! Hard day at work? Literally speak to any of the staff for more then a second garrentee you will walk away feeling better then you did prior. Love the place!

They were indifferent and unhelpful while offering me a deal did not help in educating me at all on my choices which is what I was asking. Honestly after that experience I wanted to go elsewhere to buy the set; luckily for drummond I had been given gift cards I wanted to use so instead I tried the Enfield store.Josh B from the enfield store was the complete opposite. He cracked a few jokes, and he spent 45 minutes showing me all the options available and why/how they were different. I genuinely could not have been happier.Thanks again Josh.

To accompany that, the store is always clean and as soon as you walk in the front door you can see through the store which make it easier to find what you want. I have now purchased 3 sets of Golf clubs over the years from them and everything else that I have needed and I have never once felt let down by the sales staff. Luke Selfe (Lukey): This is a bit of a smaller golf shop, even when compared to the other Drummond stores around Adelaide. But they still have a great range of products. They offer fitting of clubs which I recently used as I am short compared to the off the shelf clubs they make. I found this brilliant and can now finally hold the club how it is meant to be held. If you can, get Ruan to help you, nice guy and very knowledgeable and I have found he has been great. Have all the normal golf range, kits, clubs and accessories along with clothing and practice equipment

Chris Rundell: Nice course and facilities but course couldve been in better condition, seems no one knows any golf etiquette out here. Repaired at least 50 craters in the greens yesterday before I gave up. Unrepaired divots all over the fairways too, I would hate to be the greens keeper here. Maybe a course Marshall or implementing a free membership that can be obtained by studying some simple golf etiquette might save you guys some course repair costs.

The undulating fairways make for excellent drainage. As always the greens were in excellent condition. Taylor was very welcoming in the Proshop. The foundations of the new clubhouse have begun. Exciting times ahead.UPDATE REVIEW 5/5/23 so much is happening at Flagstaff Hill golf course. The old clubhouse has been knocked over and they are rebuilding a new one with penthouses on top. They have dug up the 16th fairway. They have put in new irrigation and reshaped the fairway. The course was in excellent condition. The couch fairways gave us plenty of roll. The greens were in excellent condition. All the bunkers had just been raked. Emma was very welcoming in the temporary pro shop. We had a great day out. Please read my previous reviews.UPDATE REVIEW 10/12/21Nearly 12 months since our last round. Nothing has changed!!! Fairways, greens and bunkers were in excellent condition. We were reminded of the wonderful bird life, surrounding trees and peacefulness of the setting. Please read my previous review.UPDATE REVIEW 1/1/21A great way to start the new year!!The course is undulating, challenging and well maintained. The excellent contoured greens are surrounded by strategically placed bunkers and were in great condition.The couch fairways were the best we had seen them in the last couple of years. There was excellent coverage, great roll and the ball sat up beautifully. All fairways are lined with tall gums.Flagstaff is close to Adelaide city down south situated in a very peaceful setting....... almost a country feel. This course can be played all year round. Watch out for the 2 for one specials - good value course. Mark was welcoming in the Pro shop. Be sure to add Flagstaff Hill to your bucket list of golf courses to play in SA.UPDATE REVIEW 3/4/20A beautiful mild and sunny April day. The greens were in excellent condition. They were fast and true. Great to putt on. The fairways have improved significantly since our last visit in November. There was good coverage of couch and excellent role with the ball. Flagstaff Hill golf course is a very peaceful and tranquil place to play golf………You get the sense of being out in the country.I mentioned in my last visit that I bought “alien pro golf over grips” for six dollars each. They have been excellent. You get very good grip with them...... there is a tacky feel about them.As usual the staff in the pro shop are always very welcoming particularly during this COVID-19 environment. Great to see that they are allowing the public to continue to play. We are very appreciative of this.Looking forward to our next visit.

Daniel Skinner: A good suburban course that is challenging for all players. The grounds team have done a good job lifting the standards further in the last 6 months. Unfortunately some committee members don't like their ball being caught in sand traps so they are being progressively filled in to the detriment of the enjoyment of the clubs future members and visitors. Play now while it still has trees.
