Claire Gibbins-Read: Revolution Mexicana is where my partner and I had our first ever date.The food was amazing and the owner and chef are wonderful bubbly people.Ever since my partner and I would go to this restaurant for any anniversaries and celebrations, this restaurant is our special gem.I saw today that it’s temporarily closed and I couldn’t help but cry, the owner did say he was thinking about going back to Mexico, hopefully he comes back, but honestly I just hope he finds happiness where ever he may be.The homemade chilli sauce knocks your socks off, and the whole menu is the best food you’ll ever eat!Thank you for the beautiful memories Revolutionaries Mexicana

Margarita Garcia: This is the second time I've eaten here. And I have to day that this is the most authentic Mexican place I've yet been to in Adelaide. We had a banquet and tried so much, we were so full and couldn't finish everything but we gave it a good crack! Service and atmosphere are spot on too. Highly recommend this place, great vegetarian options too!!

Robert Brinkley: Ok, first, I'm from Texas, and I've eaten a lot of Mexican food, and the food here is pretty darn good. Everything we had was authentic, although it's probably Mexican with an Aussie twist...regardless, still muy bien! Our waitress was Cuban, and she was pleasantly surprised I ordered in spanish. For those reviews here saying this food isn't authentic or that it wasn't quick enough, you clearly do not understand the food or the culture. If you want fast, stick to McDonald's....if you want good Mexican food, try Zapatas! I guarandamntee you won't be disappointed. Comida era muy buena!

The eggs were scrambled perfectly with bacon and Pico de gallo folded into it, and a delicious tangy salsa with some avocado and coriander on top. It was made even better with the habanero hot sauce though - if you like a bit of heat, make sure you try it!Overall a great meal, coffee, and experience, it made for a great start to our day, and we'd definitely come back again and again for the amazing food and service!

A little bit of Mexico is a hidden gem in Mawson Lakes.My wife and I have flavoured Mexican food because of our close friends are Mexican. We ordered Chicken Tinga de Pollo Quesadillas. The food came fast. The flavor is OMG. Warm and crispy outer skin, cheesy and chewy inside. The chipotle flavour explored at the first bite. Well marinated chicken is tender and soft. Going with nutty chilli oil if you like something more exciting. If there is one thing I could ask for more, it’s more food! I only realised how good the food is after taking bites and then I couldn’t stop eating. So sorry for the photo😄

Andy Bryant: Surprisingly good Mexican food at this hidden away restaurant off Port Rush Rd. Hard to notice due to not very good signage, and hidden away as part of a motel complex is this intriguing Mexican eatery. Inside is quite bizarre decor, Mexican sombreros and strange water feature with plastic flowers and lights. It's all seems to work though and the food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Service was friendly, cocktails available, good menu selection; what more could you ask for. Well worth checking out.

The spicy cream and enchilada sauces were a standout. The lay-out, design and decor are so well done and the little entry bridge is way too cute! The chairs are also super comfortable, adding to the overall fantastic experience. The service was great too, we just wish we had a little more time as we enjoyed ourselves so much. Best Mexican restaurant we’ve been to. Highly recommend and we will be back to try the chicken mole!

Rob Wallis: Went out for Mexican on Friday night. Less western style, more traditional. Not sure about the sprinkles on the cake being traditional. First was a fresh tortilla taco of spiced beef pieces, onion, and coriander. The meat was so tasty and tender. Then chicken enchiladas in mole sauce, and chicken flautas. Theenchiladas were most and full of flavour, with the flautas being like a deep fried version with a nice crunch. Rounding it the meal was a flan that was dense and creamy, and tres leches cake. Amazing food that's simple and tasty. At Taco Quetzalcoatl.

Hong Nguyen: Tasty and colourful are the main characteristics of Mexican dishes here.We enjoy a lovely dinner at Zambrero. The waiters are welcoming and polite, especially one of them who is resourceful, full of energy, and always smiling when taking orders. She spreads enthusiastic energy to those around her and brightens the corner.Will be back!

Ben (South Australia Vibes): Had lunch here today and had some great food. All the ingredients are so fresh and tasty and it's presented so well.The cocktails are great here and they have the best sangria as well. Lovely seating area inside and outside. The staff are very friendly and attentive as well.
Daneille Turner: and the glasses we asked for to pour our beers were not clean. I opted to drink my beer straight out of the can rather than pour it into a glass that had fingerprints and bits of food stuck to it. I understand storage might be an issue but boxes in front and under the service counter made the restaurant look a bit unkempt. The toilets, I will note, were very clean.Vegetarian options: There were a number of Jackfruit menu items as well as other vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options

caroline c: We celebrated our sons special confirmation ceremony and dined at Montezuma before we went.The service was very efficient when we explained we had a tight timeframe.All 8 of us ordered a different meal to explore a wide range of tastes and flavours. The food did not disappoint, the children had never eaten Mexican before and they now keep asking us to go back. The adult meals were presented beautifully and timely.The portion size was large and included delicious varieties of food that gave us a genuine taste of Mexico! There was plenty of meat and adequate sauce very well plated. We'll be back as we also found Montezumas great value 👍Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly for our boys
