Daniel Treloar: My experience with Dave and his team @ Adelaide Pergolas was wonderful. Dave first came around to take a look and give the quote, and started work on the project right away. The council took their time like usual to approve the go-ahead but Dave had constant communication with them and myself so I always knew what was going on. Once work commenced, 2 trades ppl from the team came over and put the pergola up in 2 and a bit days. Whilst they were here I hardly ever heard them at all. Super professional and courteous and extremely hard working. They also had a mini skip be delivered out the front for all the waste materials at the end. The pergola is super neat and exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to improve their property with a pergola. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Thank you Adelaide Pergolas. 😊

Gillian: I had a new gable-roof verandah built and I am extremely happy with the quality and look of the finished product. I am glad that I decided on DMV Outdoor Solutions owned by Mile to plan my verandah, obtain council approval and construct it.Firstly I had a very old rusting verandah dismantled and disposed of by Mile and his son Milos. The neighbours told me how impressed they were at how efficiently and quickly this was done. I was impressed too! Then before the building of the new verandah began Mile repaired a corner of my leaking house gutter that he had noticed plus he repaired and painted a problem area of my existing carport. Then Mile and his son Milos worked well together to build my new verandah. Impressive work effort and positive attitudes displayed by both of them.The finished verandah structure looks great and I will get many years of use and enjoyment out of it. I am glad I took up the option to have Mile do the digging and pipe laying needed so that my stormwater flows underground to the street kerb instead of just flowing across my driveway and footpath as it did from my old verandah. Plus he improved the drainage from one problem area of my existing house gutter as part of this process. Mile has many skills! Nothing seemed to be a problem that he couldn’t fix. I certainly recommend using DMV Outdoor Solutions.

From initial contact by phone to consultation, site inspection and quote, to the completed project, Matt Keith was fantastic. We had a Stratco Sanctuary veranda installed. The tradesmen he contracted - Darren and his father did a wonderful job. It was erected in less than 2 days. On completion the work area was cleaned and tidied. Completed the job promptly and cleaned up worksite afterwards. Even came back promptly to do a small alteration afterwards. Cannot fault the service from Shane and the team. Looking forward to Shane replacing our deck.

Great communication, great eye for detail, nothing is too much hassle. Timbers delivered to site with plenty of time to paint them prior to install.The install - Shaun, a Softwoods contractor. Practical, down to earth guy, just jumped in and got on with the job. Another great communicator and he definitely knew his stuff.The result - we're ecstatic with the result. It's opened up our outdoor area, covered with Laserlite Frost sheeting to allow plenty of light, as well as being available for all year round use.Highly recommend reaching out to Nathan at Softwoods for your next project.

The next day I got an email from Bunnings that the order has been canceled without any explanation, I’m still waiting to hear from them. Their sheets were $66.49 with a $50 delivery fee.https://www.bunnings.com.au/suntuf-3-6m-diffused-grey-solarsmart-polycarbonate-roof-sheet_p1015266I went on a google search and found Softwoods.com.au, they had the exact same product for $60.34 per 3.6 metre sheetI only needed 4 sheets for this project, but I bought 6 as I will do a little cover over the bbq one day.It just goes to show that a bit of research can save you money and help out a local store.Softwoods delivered this to Brisbane for $45.When the delivery truck turned up with a crane, I thought this will needed to be carried one sheet at a time as this is the first time using this material, but 6 sheets at 3.6 metres long isn’t that heavy, maybe 20Kg without using a scale. This material is in a roll so it’s easy to carry around and you won’t damage it.All in all, say no to the big stores and use the local bloke as they offer much better prices and the service quality is outstanding.Thanks Zenon and the team for your hard work.

Jason: I met with Jakuf with some rough dimensions of the deck area I wanted to build next to my swimming pool. Jakuf took my plans and worked out everything that I needed to complete the job. He gave me some advice on how to build the frame and lay the Trex decking. It was several months before I got to build the deck and Jakuf was still willing the provide any pointers I needed.
