The restaurant Bread & Bone and Maybe Mae are located in the same building, expect that for Maybe Mae you go downstairs to the basement and then try to find the “invisible door” 🙂Ended up trying 4 drinks - Bill Murray, Corpse Reviver, Odd Company and Poolside. Every drink was really good. I’d recommend folks to try more stuff from their ‘Hall of Fame’ menu.This place is a 100% recommendation for cocktail enthusiasts visiting Adelaide.

Tom, who served me, showcased exceptional bartending skills along with a friendly smile and charm.The burlesque show was fantastic—engaging and interactive, which really enhanced the excitement of the evening.As a lover of dance, the performers personally convinced me to try burlesque myself. Their energy and charisma were truly inspiring, and their performances left me eager to explore this art form further.The surprise of a rooftop pool, used creatively in the performances, added a unique touch.The live music was lively and fun, with audience participation encouraged, which made the experience even more enjoyable.Plus, the luxurious lift to the rooftop was a nice touch that set this venue apart from the usual. Highly recommend Nineteen Ten for a memorable and fun night out!

Great roof top views, an intimate seating area around a small swimming pool, lots of attention to small details, exceptional table service, great cocktails, including pacers and mocktails. JONK3R: The main room hosts a large range of hard liquors, from your average whisky and gins to the pricier stuff. Plenty of seating options and service was efficient and friendly. The main room windows were open despite it being the middle of winter so we opted for the small room to the left which hosts about 25-30 people and was toasty warm. Crowd ranged from a handful of twenty somethings, but mostly groups aged 35+. Was a great option for a nightcap, but they’re not open very late being a hotel bar.
Fiona Nguyen: Best Passionfruit Magarita in town. Open late on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s nice to sit in the corner and look at the Victoria Square.
Zahra Sahara: The Collins Bar, situated in the Hilton Hotel, has hands down the friendliest staff I have encountered in a while. The ambiance of the venue is fantastic and you can enjoy stunning views of Victoria Square while sipping on your cocktail or beverage of choice. Overall, an amazing spot for a night out!

She was an absolute gun with making every drink as soon as the docket was placed in front of her and she did it with a smile and charm. Every drink tasted amazing and I could tell it was made with love. India kept everything stocked and could tell she enjoyed working in a team in a busy environment. Great place

Had an area for 35 guests booked in the fish tank area, we were given a small seated area that fitted around 10 of us, we were the furthest away from the fish tank. I was responsible for the cake and I was never told they didn't supply plates or napkins to serve. If you are gonna be advertising to have birthday, engagements and other events at the venue it should be made clear to bring your own cake supplies.

Avijeet Sen: Visited in Sep 2024Made a visit to Hains & Co during my recent trip to Adelaide. It was one of the 3 cocktail bars I went to in ADL, the other ones being Maybe Mae and Bibliotheca. Hains has decent cocktails but nothing stood out for me personally. The Smuggler’s Soul cocktail was my fav among the ones I tried.Overall a decent bar which is worth a visit.

Charlie Hannemann: Such a fun place, never a dull moment with the movers and shakers behind the bar, shout out to Wilson for the whisky sours!

We enjoyed a long lunch, selecting the ‘feed me’ menu, which allowed us to sample several shared dishes, which we complemented with brilliantly recommended wines and rounded off with divinely crafted cocktails. 2KW excelled in every aspect of the culinary journey, however the absolute standout was the customer service provided by the front of house team, in particular Lisa, who delivered outstanding attention to detail, expertly balanced with knowledge, warmth and professionalism. Definitely recommend checking this rooftop getaway bar! 2KW was a stand out for me, for the 2 nights spent in the city checking out a few different venues. Most memorable experience was 2KW!! I don't drink alcohol, but was glad to see they had a few non-alcoholic specially drinks available.I would have liked a bit more range, particulalry as the zero beer would be, in my opinion, the worst one in the market, but I think the "non-drinker" wave is yet to fully be accepted.Keen to go back, maybe try some food next time.
Kelly O'Brien: We held my daughter's 18th birthday party in the function room upstairs and it was fabulous. The venue manager is second to none. Organised, super responsive and nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect with seating in booths and plenty of room to dance. The bar is a good size so good access for getting drinks. Grazing table generous. I highly recommend Distill for any function/party.

Darren McInnes: To Steven and the team at Distill, a big thank you for a wonderful 18th birthday function. Right from the outset, your service and willingness to assist was excellent and, to be honest, pleasantly surprising. Not only is the function space perfect for such occasions, you took all the stress away from organising such an event. We were able to enjoy the night watching our son and his friends have a fantastic time. With free venue hire, we felt the cost was very reasonable, particularly when you consider our designated security person and the monitoring of underage patrons. Having great IT infrastructure in place allowed us to display a photo presentation on loop and we were able to play our personal playlists through the venue’s sound system. Had a fantastic night and all we had to do was get home safely. Could not fault it and would encourage anyone looking to hold a stress-free function to consider Distill.

David Paul: Sound system was not the best yet I've seen Beats on Parade play at other gigs without sound issues. Maybe replace the cables as whenever the DJ spoke it was this inaudible high pitched shrill. Once the DJ stopped speaking it wasn't too bad despite the system cutting out on one speaker. Once it was stable, it was fine. Don't use an MC if the mics aren't working - trust me, I'm a sound engineer.
